   All I know is I wiped all three of my systems, used gparted to create   
   GPT partition block, created/formatted/labeled all desired directories   
   on 6 drives, and installed Mageia 3, picked Custom during partition   
   phase, and have legacy GRUB as the boot loader.   
   No operational problems as I type this reply.  :)
