It took me until this spring to do       that but PCLOS is a lot like Mandriva but updated and it has its little       peculiarities as well but it does not put up Facebook pages unless some       one sends me link.        The chief difference is that root passwords and user accounts etc. are       added after the installation and reboot. This is a rolling release with       several new ISOs per year and much later kernels than       Mandriva will let you install.               I booted up an old Mandriva install on my Dell Inspiron 4000       yesterday and it ran well enough but when I asked for updates I got       nothing.
