   What Linux distributions have you switched over to now when Mandriva has ended   
   its desktop distribution? Any suggestions would be appreciated.   
   I have been a Mandrake/Mandriva user since 2001 and on my desktop and laptop I   
   currently run Mandriva 2010. I have to buy a new motherboard for my home built   
   system and probably will have to switch over to a newer Linux kernel because   
   of newer hardware.   
   Is there any distribution similar to Mandriva? In particular, I liked the   
   urpmi method for package distribution and some of the interfaces in MDC. I'm   
   using KDE.   
      
   Also, does anyone know how long will the package repositories for MD2010 be   
   maintained ?
