But try all the rest then       try PCLOS which is a distribution that copied the MCC from       Mandriva early on and now is very active with new versions being       produced every few months and lots of updates available. Latest was       done early last month. I switched from Mandriva to PCLOS in April 2013.        I have had kernel and KDE updates since then and am satisfied       by the WiFi detection and use capabilities which are more like       Mandriva's tools than I would have expect.        Installation is just a bit different from the Mandriva with       root and user sections to be completed after a reboot from the install.               I had lots of problems with updating Mandriva while I was still       using 2010.2. I doubt relying on extended maintenance of the       repositories is a good way to go for production machines.               bliss                                             --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
