   Sure, I will enable the tainted release as well and try again.   
   I double checked, there are no debug/backport/testing lines in   
   the list of sources to select from, only core, non-free and tainted.   
   I suppose based on the warnings generated I could go into the   
   package management gui from mcc and manually remove them from there   
   and then rerun the --test option till I get a clean run.   
   Is the log file generated really possible to use directly as   
   input the way you described earlier. It has a lot of other   
   status info lines in addition to the ftp addresses.   
   Also, need to get sshd to work so I don't need to physically   
   sit by the machine to debug.
