   Just a thought... I know you're not supposed to have to do this, but   
   have you made trials on YOUR system that included both "http://" and   
   "https://" typed in by you, not added by the software? I'm thinking that   
   the software that automatically adds "http://" which is then (I   
   think)re-directed by Google to "https://" might be mucking up somehow.
