   Thanks Dave. I had found the corresponding .drc file, but it contains no   
   network address. Nor can I find the old "192.168.2.10" address in   
   /etc/..... or /var/...   
   Found it! /usr/local/Brother/sane/brsanenetdevice3.cfg   
   Very annoying to find configuration data in a /usr/ subdirectory.   
   Now it works
