It doesn't have to be Mageia, but you can       use the Rescue function on the Mageia DVD. It is a bit clunky. Then your       Mageia partitions are not busy.              Then mount the partition containing /etc/fstab to a mount point somewhere.       A mount point is just any empty directory. I prefer the /mnt of the liveCD.       (or /media/floppy!)              Then you can edit fstab to be just how you want it. You can use /dev/sda??       format for the partitions for now, then use diskdrake to substitute their       UUIDs later. But watch that both your usual system and the live system       agree on which drive is /dev/sda.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
