On the Amiga I learned as well about hard disk partitions and SCSI       terminations as well as File Utilities and especially using text       processors to prepare ASCII for word processors       to make pretty.        On Mandriva learned about KDE and eventually Gnome from 2006-2013.        On Kubuntu I learned a bit about UEFI/EFI and GPT.        On Mageia I learned a bit more.        Using Fedora I learned how much the UEFI could be ignored       and how quickly a DVD could take over the boot process.                I like to try different Live distributions. I don't much       care to mess about with my fixed disk when I have something running       so that I can do my primary tasks and jobs.               Time to go to my 1st appointment today.               bliss              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
