   I am confused. I have the bash4.2-48.2 ( which was mageia's implimentation of   
   the Redhat patch for a while). I realise it is not the "official" patch.   
   But the weirdness is that on my 32 bit machines it protects against

   Sorry, most things arrive when they are delivered. What did you really
