   But as Herman said, why format /home?  Unfortunately, I don't have the   
   whole original post.  All that I know is that there are problems with   
   the existing Mandriva 2010.   
      
   I agree wholeheartedly with Herman's post dated 27 November.  The latest   
   OpenMandriva seems pretty stable, although it had me in an endless loop   
   trying to update, but it no longer has the "feel" of Mandriva 2010.
