   I did try Open-Mandriva earlier this year but the installs had a few issues   
   and caused problems on the boot drive that holds other distros (Mageia).   
      
   In the end having trying to fix it without success I just deleted it.   
      
   It does not appear to have full support / updates working to any useful   
   state.   
      
   I updated Mageia to v4 and now v5 - a lot more stable and more importantly   
   supported with updates and fixes.
