I looked at it again       today. It is based on ROSA, not the old Mandriva 10, and does seem in need       of updating.              Mageia is the natural successor to Mandriva. It has the same team of       developers that Mandriva dispensed with. All the familiar tools are there       (including the updates icon,) and the look is still like Mandriva 10. The       old PLF is now called Tainted. DistroWatch ranks it about 6th, and reviews       are consistently favourable. Its main problem is developers. They are a       small team, and need all the help they can get.              I have no idea what Lx stands for. My guess is that it is an abbreviation       of Linux. That matches the lower-case 'x'.              Doug.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
