   Hi there,   
      
   I'm just sitting in front of a Mageia5 test installation, checking which   
   packages are available here.   
      
   Well, all tools like mcc are still there, and even the annoying msec is /   
   was still running and smashing my setting all the time (finally I deleted   
   it, now it's OK...), so it feels somehow familiar, but there are a few   
   things puzzling me:   
      
   I tried to re-use a script from Mandriva to convert movie files from VOB   
   file format to mpeg4-avi, and instead, there appears the following alert:   
      
   [root@mageia2 ~]# mencoder /tmp/null.VOB -oac mp3lame -lameopts   
   cbr:mode=2:br=96 -af resample=44100 -af volnorm -srate 44100 -ofps 15 -ovc   
   lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:mbd=2:cbp:trell:vbitrate=300:aspect=16/9 -vf   
   scale=400:240 -ffourcc XVID -o /tmp/null.AVI   
   MEncoder SVN-12.r37337.3.mga5-4.9.2 (C) 2000-2014 MPlayer Team   
   MPlayer was compiled without libmp3lame support.   
   -lameopts is not an MEncoder option   
      
   Exiting... (error parsing command line)   
      
   Any clue, why they excluded it from build?   
      
   Is there an other source for getting this package (PLF or so?) instead of   
   building it by myself?   
      
   ...I'd appreciate having a distro where the system can be "clicked   
   together" by just selecting what you want.
