At least with Mageia you are not adding a foreign repo but one that has
software that is considered by some to have restrictions in regard to
software sources in part not being available such as Nvidea drivers, video
   player code etc.

The tainted options come up in the package selector in the sense that you
will see more than one item for a given package so you have to look to the
right hand side to see where it is coming from - just the same as you need
to do to select the X64 version over the i86 one, so the tainted versions
   are also so shown.

Easy - well ish there are still a fair number of ommisions offered as I
have been finding out when looking for Python5 and QT5 development tools
where there are lots of missing elements.

PS. If you are speaking about Mageia you should only be posting in the
usergroup for it and not this redundant / deal distro.
