From: laidlaws@hotkey.net.au              DistroWatch has a comprehensive review of OpenMandriva 3.0       with many screenshots. The conclusion was not so good:              "Usually I enjoy using OpenMandriva as it tends to have a       newcomer friendly approach and a great Control Centre.       This time around though the distribution performed too slowly       to be practical for me to use and introduced too many bugs       for me to consider version 3.0 beginner friendly."              IMO, Mageia is still the natural successor to Mandriva.       No other distro I have tried is as configurable as Mandriva       and its forks. PCLinuxOS is another fork, but hasn't yet       reached systemd or UEFI. Fedora and Suse can't tolerate       another distro alongside them, and configuration is painful.              --              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
