   activation or authentication code. When i do click activate there are   
   characters already in the place where i would enter them, so i'm guessing it   
   could be the right activation    
   code. But it says unable to connect to activation server. I've also downloaded   
   the update and that did nothing.

   I went into manual install, put in my serial number and my hardware code. and   
   it actually gave me a really long authentication code. but when i click   
   activate it says activation denied. i tried changing it and it says incorrect   
   authentication code. So it'   
   s not that it's not the right code. it's just denied. what the hell?
