   Hi,   
   i got a little problem with my kde. symply put it doesnt support neither   
   png nor gif pictures. for example when choosing a wallpaper i can only   
   use svg and bmp pics. when pewview is enabled within konqueror it wont   
   show png or gif images in preview. gwenview doesnt open png or gif   
   either. first i thought i might have forgotten 2 use the gif flag. so i   
   did a emerge -avuND world, but this wouldnt solve it. then i excplicity   
   recompiled first qt (with gif support) and then kdelibs. but still   
   nothing :((   
   now im outof ideas where 2 get gif support which is kinda annoying   
   everytime i open a webpage containing gifs (with konqueror) i get a   
   dialog asking me what 2 do with the gif image save as or open. i really   
   really gets on my nerves.
