   How do I start all my GNOME Terminals v2.18.1 with iso8859-1 (or iso8859-15)   
   as charset? It automatically starts with UTF-8 as default and I always have   
   to display the menubar and then do Terminal -> Set Character Encoding ->   
   Western (ISO-8859-1). Otherwise the special characters that I have in my   
   filesystem(s) and that my keyboard creates are displayed as white on black   
   question mark character.
