|    How to _not_ load ipw2200 on startup    |
|    26 Oct 07 12:21:50    |
From: newsspam@weilbacher.org              Since a week or so, after my last update of system libraries, I       get the ipw2200 module loaded on startup. I don't want that, the       radio should stay off until I tell it to come up. I already       managed to find out that I should add RC_PLUG_SERVICES="!net.wlan"       to /etc/conf.d/rc to keep udev-postmount from trying to initalize       the WLAN connection. But that doesn't seem to be enough. It is       also not listed in /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6. Is there       any other place I should look?              Thanks,        Peter.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
