   This has nothing to do with kernel autoloading. The modules you list in   
   /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6 are simply modprobed at boot. You   
   just need to have kernel support for modules.   
   Kernel autoloading uses other files (the main is /etc/modprobe.conf).
