   Maybe I just have too much stuff installed.  /usr/portage/distfiles is   
   sitting at over 4GB by itself.  Even /opt has 2.8GB.  Or /var at over 4GB   
   (what the ... gonna have to look into that).  I'm not sure how much space   
   is used compiling OOo (of course, binary-only is an option here, but I do   
   find I can notice a reasonable difference in responsiveness when I compile   
   it myself), for example.  That doesn't leave much room for the core inside   
   15GB.
