   Basically, you have to run   
      
   ebuild /usr/local/portage/category/name/name-0.23.5.ebild manifest   
      
   replacing "category", "name" and "0.23.5" with your actual category name,   
   package name and version.   
      
   (note that this used to be "ebuild .... digest", but this has changed   
   recently).
