   Well, what means "even". This was a bug in the kernel, so it is good   
   that it fails with gcc-4.3. Most other things cause no problem.   
   My list of packages which didn't compile without manual patches (i.e.   
   not in the portage tree yet) has been shrunk to about 30, and for about 10   
   of them there are patches in bugzilla (but not yet in the tree).   
   hardened-sources-2.6.23-r? is one of the very few things for which I don't   
   know yet how to patch it (but I didn't try too hard).
