   I would be interested in the speed gains you get with 4.3's -march=core2   
   support though. And I mean compiling the whole system with it,   
   including the whole of X and KDE. I didn't find any serious benchmarks   
   on this yet.   
      
   Also, Intel C++ might also be an interesting thing to test, but it seems   
   mixing GCC and Intel is somewhat chaotic because too many packages won't   
   compile with it.   
      
   Also, we're talking testing/experimental setups here, on boxes we use to   
   toy with. So why not try these things out just for the fun of it? It   
   sure keeps the bug reports coming in, so I guess there's *some* benefit   
   for the world :P
