   My eix says there's not such a thing as pppoe-setup or adsl-setup   
   ebuild. You will have to look up the doc to find, how Gentoo does   
   adsl.

   In this case the easiest thing would be to boot that distribution,   
   chroot into Gentoo, install the missing packages using the plane old   
   Gentoo emerge. Look here for an example for chrooting:

   The example considers that your root partition is already mounted   
   into /mnt/gentoo, so don't forget to do that beforehand.
