   Keep in mind that having glibc/uclib built against the kernel-headers that is   
   dependently linked to the kernel you use will give you the full benefit, while   
   having glibc compiled against older kernel-headers can lead to that glibc   
   lacks some features.   
      
   In binary distributions you get those three in a group, new kernel,   
   kernel-headers and new glibc (if new features given in the kernel).
