   Kind of silly, but I get caught by this a lot.   
      
   Check the protections of ~/.ssh and all files in   
   that dir on all involved systems.  Example:   
      
   chmod 700 ~/.ssh   
   chmod 600 or 400 for files under ~/.ssh
