   There is some firewall: if I try to use any port but 3333, connection fails.

   As I said, we use the public IP of the servers. Obviously, I'm not a network   
   expert, so I must contact the admin to know that. My point is, all the other   
   users are non-experts too. And they set their Ubuntu servers, without   
   contact the network admins. So, I though that should be something with the   
   config.
