   There are different boot loaders to choose from and some computers also   
   allow different boot methods.   
      
   The default boot loader for UEFI in Slackware is elilo, however before   
   elilo can do its thing it needs to be loaded by the efi boot manager in   
   the BIOS. This can be done manually as you have done or configured to be   
   done automagically with the efibootmgr program.   
      
   Another option, if supported by the computer is to disable UEFI boot and   
   switch to goot old legacy boot. With legacy boot lilo should be   
   configured instead of elilo.
