Nothing of the sort. This script attempts to list what packages a given
installed package depends on. For example ...

If I want to install (for example) amanda (the backup software, of
which I have a locally created package installed) on a system with an
otherwise minimal install, I would need to ensure that the following
   packages are also installed:

      : hecate[syl] ~; src/slackware/listdeps.sh amanda
      aaa_libraries-15.0-x86_64-19
      amanda-3.3.9-x86_64-1
      brotli-1.0.9-x86_64-7
      c-ares-1.19.1-x86_64-1_slack15.0
      curl-8.10.1-x86_64-1_slack15.0
      cyrus-sasl-2.1.28-x86_64-1_slack15.0
      e2fsprogs-1.46.5-x86_64-1
      flex-2.6.4-x86_64-5
      glib2-2.70.3-x86_64-1
      keyutils-1.6.3-x86_64-3
      libffi-3.3-x86_64-3
      libidn2-2.3.2-x86_64-1
      libnsl-1.3.0-x86_64-3
      libpsl-0.21.1-x86_64-4
      libssh2-1.11.1-x86_64-1_slack15.0
      libtirpc-1.3.2-x86_64-1
      libunistring-0.9.10-x86_64-3
      nghttp2-1.61.0-x86_64-1_slack15.0
      openssl-1.1.1zb-x86_64-1_slack15.0
      openssl-solibs-1.1.1zb-x86_64-1_slack15.0
      pcre-8.45-x86_64-1
      readline-8.1.002-x86_64-1
      zlib-1.2.13-x86_64-1_slack15.0
      zstd-1.5.5-x86_64-1_slack15.0

(that's probably all indeed installed on my hypothetical minimal
installation system anyway, but I hope that it illustrates the purpose
and use of my script. It's not so much dependency *tracking*, as it is
   dependency listing ...)
