   the loss of another slackware based host provider to debian 'cause   
   current libs/progs fail builds, previously that could be tolerated so the   
   near 6 years between 14.2 and 15.0 was an annoyance but survivable, too   
   many brain washed fools falling for the "its cool" /cough/ move to   
   jumping on the rust bandwagon without understanding its limitations and   
   non/short backwards compatibility has ensured it wont be 6 years waiting   
   this time, crikey cant even build clamav now days and last version of it   
   that was supported without the rust virus is now formally EOL too, so   
   said provider has already had to move several machines to debian for   
   critical ops, and a decision to move everything else there mid this year   
   is ticking away, business must win out over loyalty
