   If you are waiting for next stable version (probably to be called 15.1) I   
   fear that it might take more than one year before it gets released. The   
   ChangeLog of Slackware current has not yet shown any sign of feature   
   freeze or first release candidate.   
      
   Slackware 15.0 was released Februari 2022, almost 6 years after Slackware   
   14.2 was released. During the years, as Slackware has grown with more and   
   bigger packages, the time between stable releases has increased.
