   Yes I read that. It is outdated.   
   I used the manual instructions (for java 7) to write the script I   
   mentioned before (for java 8).   
   I tried to understand every step but failed on some of them.   
   I am not sure to have everything right. Only when I install the rest of   
   "my" stuff I can be sure - for ex. eclipse.   
   So far, calling java -version works and also did the test of the plugin   
   at the java site.
