   If you have a.doc open in a user space program such as MS Word and you want to   
   change its name to linux.doc via a preset script whilst moving goal posts,   
   that might be useful, if only to guarantee the watcher scripts do not collide.

   done on on Windows and

   what I've seen (which is none of it lately), it looks like the GIMP ecosystem   
   got more sophisticated. Don't look now, but I think Ben Bacarisse has a   
   serious brocrush on Desk
