   I have an odd issue with  KDE plasma 5 desktop. If I boot my laptop on   
   my wifi network all works just fine and is perfectly stable.   
      
   If I turn off wifi or go to somewhere that I cant log on to the network   
   the desktop freezes just after login.   
      
   I am running leap 42.2 and the KDE is 5.8 but I had the same issue with 42.1   
      
   I also have XFCE on as a backup desktop on the laptop which just works   
   wifi or no wifi   
      
   I have tried google but I must not be asking the right question as I   
   cant find an answer ,any ideas or at least point me in the right direction.
