   Yes, I've tried everything with the drivers, and looked hard for a   
   solution to make Plasma run for me, but no joy.   
      
   Actually, the solution is quite simple: use openSUSE, but don't use KDE/   
   Plasma. Getting everything I need in openSUSE Mate.
