Now sounds go to the monitor, and stays till next reboot, I think.       > Using XFCE or LXDE.              Hi.              I'm using a Samsung smart tv as my display for movies, and it has input       for DVI video, but not sound.              But the point is rather moot, as I have seven boxes on my network, and       the only two things that bother me are the extra time taken to d/l in       linux and transfer to the Winders box to play (minor) and my distaste for       using Winders at all for anything. Really.              So for now I take the extra transfer time as I refuse to d/l in Winders       though I have all the software I need until I can justify buying a linux       tested HDMI card. Then Winders can go back to gathering dust. |
