   Not quite.  The reason I didn't simply do this is because I had no way of   
   knowing the device would be at /dev/sda/b/c.  I have seen instances where the   
   OS   
   is not located on sda, but most of the time it is.  Leaving me to arbitrarily   
   try and mount the USB until I hit a device which isn't in use, and that's not a   
   good solution.   
      
   In any event the:   
   LABEL=PNY16GB  /mnt/something  auto  lazytime,nofail 1 1   
   is exactly what I needed and was stumbling around looking for.  I do know the   
   labels of the USBs and which computer they live on.
