   Sorry, I don't use btrfs so I'm not familiar with the procedure, not at   
   least to explain it to others. But it of course documented:

   Note: why use btrfs at all if you disable snapshots? It is a wonderful   
   feature, and the most important feature of btrfs systems. If you are not   
   going to use it, you'd better format as ext4.
