   Yes, but I'm not familiar myself with AMD video.   
      
      
   Do you know ho to boot to text mode?   
      
   While you see the grub menu, press 'e' (I think it is 'e') to edit. You   
   should get a windo displaying the text of the boot config. Search for a   
   line that starts similar to this (numbers will be different):   
      
   linux   /vmlinuz-4.4.79-18.23-default root=UUID=c6a594...   
      
   at the end of the line, write a number 3, and exit to boot.   
      
   The computer should boot to text mode. In one of the consoles, login as   
   root, type "startx" and enter. Do you get a graphics system, or do you   
   get an error? If you get an error, copy it here, or make a photo and   
   upload somewhere, like susepaste.org.   
      
      
   An alternative at this point is to start a different desktop from   
   plasma. For instance:   
      
   WINDOWMANAGER=/usr/bin/icewm startx -- :1   
      
      
   If that works, you would have to change the login manager and default   
   desktop to boot normally, then investigate the problem with plasma.
