   Indeed, I could not do a new install (or upgrade) from DVD.   
      
   Here were I am today after browsing through German feeds. I ran an update   
   (via DVD) with the option "no ACPI" which worked ... but then I ran into   
   another problem: The CPU usage went to the roof and there was no way I   
   could talk to the system. Everything was extreeeemly slow. So I had to go   
   back to the 42.2 version and I guess I have to wait until this problem   
   has been solved.   
      
   Or would you recommend the easy way as suggested: Change repositories and   
   zypper dup?
