HELP!!!       >              Ah, yes "screen flashing when trying to load a LibreOffice file" - I       solved this issue by uninstalling the SUSE rpms (and tabooing them in       YaST), and installing the files provided directly by libreoffice.org.       This only happened with LO 5.3, older versions (from Leap 42.2) worked fine.              "Losing the top bar" - I'm not sure, but I think I have this too. The       window frames are missing, no open window has a bar, so you can neither       close it nor move it around. I call the KDE System settings, choose       another layout (or Window Decoration, like Oxygen), klick on Apply, and       switch back (to Breeze, and Apply again). Log off, Log on, and voila :)       But it is not nice, though...              BTW, I never ever use a Radeon card with Linux again. I had so many bad       experiences, I'm fed up. Here in the office I have a Fujitsu Esprimo       with Intel graphics (not fast, but for office... 2 Monitors 1920x1200       each work fine). At home, I use nVidia cards. They need the proprietary       drivers, but this is normally not a problem.              Werner              --              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
