   When I do ps -ef, it shows up as gnome-terminal...strange.   
   Anyway, some further searching revealed this is a bug in KDE rather than   
   Suse.  I installed gnome and KDE, but I can't select desktops, because   
   the the login screen is a grey retro relic, looking like Solaris from the   
   1990s, with no options at all.   
   I would presume that SLED 12 (the cousin of Leap) doesn't have these   
   crappy defects.
