   But the original question was, at least meant to be, do YaST and zypper handle   
   the repositories different.  I can do a YaST upgrade.  Then followed by zypper,   
   which will find lots of packages that need to be upgraded.  Things like   
   handbrake, deadbeef, audacity, kid3, k3b, etcetera, which is why I mentioned   
   multimedia.
