   Okular is part of kde now. The okular package version on Mageai is the version   
   of   
   kde, of which it is an integral part, not the version of okular itself. The   
   version of kde that Mageia 6 packaged was kde4 (kde-apps-libs-16.12.3), which   
   included Okular 1.0.3   
   The version which was released which contained kde5 and the huge qt5/kde   
   update was   
   17.12.2 wich contained okular 1.3   
      
   If you installed the massive Mageia update, then you have okular 1.3 which is   
   precisely the version he was complaining about. So your test would have been   
   highly relevant.
