   Not real sure what you meant about root login. If you clicked up a   
   terminal and did "su" then I know what the problem is.   
      
   Run the following   
    find $HOME \( -group root -or -user root \) -exec ls -al '{}' \;   
   and if you find anything with root, you will need to change those back   
    to your UID/GID.
