   Nope, the option "Notes Settings" doesn't offer that either.  If you click the   
   middle (i.e. roller) button it creates another icon.  Which still can't be   
   removed.  Seems like there's nothing associated with "Delete" anywhere.  :-)   
      
   I cheated and went into the ~/.config directory and found a file called   
   plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc which has the right date/time stamp to   
   indicate it's the one, that and the 4 entries for plugin=org.kde.plasma.notes,   
   which arouses suspicion.  Worst case will be to logout of the xwindows session,   
   do a Ctrl-Alt-F1 and log into that window and beat that file up, after making a   
   backup, then see what that does when I do the Ctrl-Alt-F7 and log back in.    
   Just   
   seems there should be a prettier solution, assuming that works.
