   It has happened again today.   
   1 - I fired the system up, it offered Linux and Windows.   
   2 - Booted into Linux, applied the updates.   
   3 - Rebooted to do the same to Win 10 (I've been away for a week or so) but it   
   only offered me the Linux options.   
   4 - powered down for an hour or two and tried again.  Linux only.   
      
   I modified the boot order and now have Win 10 booted.
