cannot upgrade Leap 42.2 due to repoinde

   I got out an old PC with Leap 42.2 and tried to upgrade to 42.3   
   but all zypper commands come up with strange error:   
      
   Refreshing service 'nu_novell_com'.   
   Unexpected exception.   
   Parse error: repoindex.xml[1] Extra content at the end of the document   
   Please file a bug report about this.   
      
   I cannot find any file repoindex.xml on the entire disk
